Taking a stab at the newgrounds commercial. Putting in some time after work and after school :)

wip: working out some 3d and green screen stuff. modelling different assets for it

I tried to give myself an early start but still didn't manage to finish completely. Sound editing and a few scenes are missing. Hopefully things turn out ok and maybe I can get to the next round which will definately not be a piece of cake. This tournament really takes a lot out of you.

spent a lot of time preparing and little time doing :( plus work and uni didn't help much. Ah well best of luck to my competitor on the new round.

here are some initial storyboard sketches I managed to do, I started pretty late on this entry and always under-estimate the last bit being the sound fx and making the music bits.

I still have a lot to improve on when it comes to timing and scene cuts which I can bring in the first round. (the elephant in the room)

PHEW! exhausting one this was.

I'm posting up some storyboards and stuff on my artblog if anyone's interested :). The theme was Lost and Found. It was incredibly fun and stressful to make, up late till 4 am adding sounds which is why now thinking about it, the volume ended up super low. I had my speakers way up cause i didn't wanna wake anybody. still, here it is, hope you guys like it.
